Myrrh (Commiphora Myrrha) Essential Oil 12mL
Myrrh Essential Oil is a fortifying oil used to enhance clarity. Myrrh has a warming and stimulating effect when applied in aromatherapy. Myrrh oil has anti-bacterial properties and may assist in the healing of wounds, treatment of chapped and cracked skin. It can be used to support oral health as a mouthwash diluted in water. Myrrh has antifungal properties and can provide temporary relief to coughs, arthritic and rheumatic pain, mouth and gum infections. It can relieve swelling and provide pain relief. Myrrh is a powerful antioxidant to combat signs of aging skin. Combine with the following essential oils for an eczema remedy blend:
- Basil
- Bergamot
- Cedarwood
- Frankincense
- Geranium
- Lavender
- Patchouli
- Sandalwood

Directions of use:
- Vaporiser: Add 10 -15 drops of the essential oil to the Sasy n Savy electrical vaporiser. No water required. For further instructions please refer to the box.
- Bath: To minimise the risk of skin irritations in the bath, you can use Glycerine (which is a water dispersible agent) to dissolve the essential oils into the water.
- Inhaling: Add 6 drops of the essential oil to 1 litre of steaming water. Cover the head with a towel and inhale for 5 minutes, keeping eyes closed.
- Massage/Skin application: Normally used only when instructed by a health care professional or where specifically recommended. Small localised area only.
